Just married !
As close friends of the bride who married a french mate, we were invited to spend a few days at the domaine de Lamartine in June 2019. A magical venue to get married at !!
Cocktail was served at the back of the splendid house ( with two towers…!, beautiful countryside sight) and dinner in the orchard, down by the pool. We danced all night to finally collapse on our comfy bed. Brunch next morning was homemade and delicious.
The whole stay went by too fast but we’re definitely planning on coming back ! A truly & beautiful french wedding experience !

Betrothal and wedding receptions
It was an unforgettable weekend for both us and our guests. We had the good fortune to celebrate our betrothal and wedding receptions at La Martine with Michel and Isabelle taking extra special care of us. It was a 3 days event taken care of in the grandest style possible, in one of the most beautiful settings, surrounded by Lavender, Fig trees and Sunflowers. A Fairy tale evening that lasted into the early hours of the morning, we will cherish it for a very long time to come.

Travel with friends
We stayed here for two days while traveling to a friend’s wedding in the South of France. When we first drove to the outside gate, I was speechless – such a beautiful and unusual place! Luckily for us, it was an offseason, so we got the whole place pretty much to ourselves. The owner showed us the property, talked about her family who kept the domaine for the last 200 years, and its history. In the morning we had plenty of time to explore the estate, peacefully surrounded by meadows and hills, and walked around for hours, mesmerized by its beauty in the fall. We left very pleased. For 8 more days we drove around Provence staying in different places, but the Domaine De Lamartine was by far the most memorable one.
Soon enough I discovered that I forgot my dress there. Our host not only took her time to mail it to us, but also refused any money we offered for shipping. We will be forever grateful and hope to be able to pay her back by traveling to the Domaine next year.
